Who we are
Lucette provides tools for creating evidence-backed research, intelligence products and reports. Lucette is operated by Foto Friend Pty Ltd (ABN 49 135 954 068) of Level 5, 44 Market St, Sydney NSW 2000, Australia. In this policy, “Lucette”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Foto Friend Pty Ltd.
Information we collect
Account and workspace information
When you create or use an account, we may collect your name, email address, profile image, account identifiers, workspace memberships, settings and authentication information.
Content and service activity
We collect the prompts, instructions, files, source material, generated outputs, feedback and other content you provide to use Lucette. We also record information about runs, feature usage, errors and interactions needed to operate, secure and improve the service.
Billing information
We collect subscription status, credit balances, purchases, invoices and transaction references. Payment card information is collected and processed by a third-party payment provider rather than stored directly by Lucette.
Device, analytics and advertising information
We may collect IP address, browser and device details, referring pages, approximate location, cookie or similar identifiers and information about how you use the service. This may be collected through our hosting infrastructure, analytics providers and, when advertising is enabled, advertising providers.
How we use information
- Provide, personalise, maintain and secure Lucette.
- Authenticate users and manage accounts and workspaces.
- Generate requested research, reports and other outputs.
- Process subscriptions, credit purchases and service usage.
- Respond to support requests and diagnose problems.
- Measure performance and improve our product and communications.

Service providers and disclosure
We disclose information only as needed to operate Lucette, follow your instructions, protect the service or comply with law. Depending on the feature used, we may use third-party service providers for authentication, data storage, hosting, file delivery, payments, AI generation, analytics, support communications and advertising.
Information may also be disclosed in connection with a business transaction, to professional advisers, or when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, or protect rights, safety and security. We do not sell your account content.
AI processing
Content submitted for generation may be sent to the AI and information providers required to complete your request. Do not submit information you are not authorised to use or information requiring protections that Lucette has not expressly agreed to provide.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
Lucette uses necessary cookies for authentication, security and saved preferences. We may also use analytics cookies or similar technologies. On pages with advertising, advertising providers may place or read cookies, use web beacons, IP addresses or other identifiers, and use information about visits to Lucette and other sites to provide and measure ads.
Where required, we will provide consent or opt-out controls for advertising and non-essential storage. You may also be able to manage personalised advertising through controls provided by your browser, device or advertising provider.
International processing
Lucette and its service providers may process or store information in Australia, the United States and Japan. Privacy laws in those countries may differ from those where you live.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain business and transaction records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements and comply with law. Retention periods vary by the type and purpose of the information. We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices and rights
You can update certain account information in your account settings and may request access, correction or deletion of personal information through our . You may also have rights to object, restrict processing, withdraw consent or complain to a privacy regulator, depending on where you live. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
If you believe we have breached this policy or the Australian Privacy Principles, submit a written complaint through our . We will investigate and aim to respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
